Spam Can served with Air National Guard units in Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia. It was acquired by the Planes of Fame Air Museum in 1957. The name pays homage to what most fighter pilots of the 50’s would call prop planes. The museum still flies this aircraft for public viewing.
